I have been going to Botanical Beauty for over ten years mainly for gel nails. I booked ahead for my maintenance ahead for six months (much needed as Nikki is so busy, not a surprise as she's genius). I have gone in with horribly broken & missing nails damaged nailbed & nothing has phased her. She is very skilled with the gel to build nails till it grows backs. With nail bars springing up everywhere people do not appreciate the training & skill required for a proper set of nails & maintenance. I particularly like how Nikki's team are trained, qualified & certificated. Developing from school leavers onwards they have all worked there for a few years as a stable business nurturing new talent. Botanical Beauty is not like some other salons, the team are very good at what they do. It's more than just gel colour & acrylic nails, while they will manage both, as they can repair too. I'm tough on my nails so have the LED gel and I have long nails and found otherwise they did not last. The prices for treatment and products are very reasonable. I'm all finished in well under 90 minutes and have always been fitted in around work so a late afternoon appointment always worked well for me.

My first return today following the Covid-19 lockdown. Very impressed with their professionalism. The reorganisation and safety protocols that they now have in place made me feel very safe. I have been going to Molly for ages now for my toenails. Both my large toe nail beds are thickened and no longer grow to their full length following surgery to remove ingrowing toenails many years ago. I follow up a visit to a podiatrist to have the thickened nail beds smoothed down with a drill, with a visit to Molly who then skillfully builds the nail beds back up again and adds a final flourish of gel polish. But the time she has finished I defy anyone to tell the nails are not my own. The results last for weeks. As a precaution and on the advice of both my podiatrist and Molly, I take a break from having the nails built up (generally over the winter) to avoid any chance of developing a fungal nail infection. Have avoided any problems in that department so far. Molly has been a gem of a find.
