I work for a non profit that manages low income homes. I called Boring glass to order (not get a quote) two large sheets of tempered glass to be installed in a home because they were damaged. I am based in Albany Ga. and explained that to a lady that is supposedly the owner of the company. I also explained that I had to have it and that they needed to go and measure the glass because number 1. it is insulated tempered glass and I cannot measure it, 2. they are ten minutes away and I am an hour away, and #3 They have to be responsible for measuring height, width and thickness to ensure the glass is the proper size. This is the sorriest excuse for laziness that I have ever heard and is about the most unprofessional way to conduct a business. In 25 years in business I have never had to beg to give someone business and money. I would give them 0 stars if i could and I recommend using Dougherty Glass company out of Albany and paying extra or making the trip to Albany for specialized glass.

I called them looking for a windshield for my 84 GMC square nose. Was unable to locate one anywhere. Called numerous places within a 4 hour one-way drive. They said they could have by 08:30 A.M. the next day. Called at 08:45 A.M. they had. Great experience on phone, in person and loading the glass. Will use again for glass needs.

There was an issue with the wires caused by a run in with a large buck which prevented them from being able to install my windshield. The mechanic went out of his way to resolve the wiring issue in order to install the windshield. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and apologetic about the problem. If I ever need a new windshield, Boring Glass will be my first choice.
