Do NOT mistake this as just some other brewery. This is a full bar, fancy restaurant and GORGEOUS space. This spot should absolutely me on your list for a wedding reception, class reunion, etc. Wonderful design goes with the delicious, perfectly crafted beer and their elevated menu. You simply cannot find better beer and food in a better space. Anywhere.

We had a wonderful experience a Bold Monk last Saturday afternoon! We arrived around 2 PM and were seated right away outdoors in the beer garden right by a fire pit. The waiter was very pleasant and efficient and our food was delivered on time. The flight of beers was excellent the best I’ve had since Germany. I would highly recommend the Abbot sandwich. The atmosphere is European and spacious with great ambience and very Covid friendly, will definitely return!

I have never had such bad service in my life. I was a server for many years so I am very flexible and understanding but there was just no excuse for this. The service was god awful. I walked in and the hostess told me it would take a few minutes to get a table—this was not the case it took literally over an hour. If they had been upfront and honest, I would have left and gone elsewhere but because I thought it would be a few minutes, I stayed to wait. I understand it being busy and there being a wait but do not lie about it. Also I heard one hostess tell the other hostess to give us a table finally but that other hostess never communicated that to us until 10 minutes later when the other worker (who informed her to seat us) finally just came over to us directly. Once seated after an HOUR later, our server showed up filled our waters and disappeared for another 15/20 minutes. After waiting, we were fully prepared to put in an order immediately for food and drinks. When he finally showed back up, we were able to successfully place orders for drinks and food but then our beers took about 20 minutes again. At this point, when he brought our food (which came like 5 minutes after our drinks so that wasn’t too slow), we just requested our checks immediately. We had our cards out ready to pay when he handed the receipt and he literally walked away when the cards were out and ready for him. He did come back 5 minutes later but he blatantly ignored us trying to hand him cards the first time. The food was actually really good, the only reason for 2 stars over 1. A friend who had been there before told us the food is great but the service has always been bad for her. I would get food from here again but only takeout.

I’ve been to countless breweries, but I’ve never been more impressed with the level of kindness and customer service Bold Monk offered to me today. It was my first time there and I’m stranded in Atlanta due to inclement weather and found out that my second attempt of a flight home was cancelled while I was at the restaurant. Logan, Tara, and Elena all were so kind to me and provided me great conversations and recommendations on how to enjoy my next few days here and not to fret. I was seconds away from breaking into tears since the last couple of days have been so stressful between missing more work, worried about COVID with all of this traveling and going out way more than I do at home, and needing to look through my finances since I’ve had to extend my stay unexpectedly by a few days. These are genuine people and I couldn’t be more grateful for their company today. The beer and whole restaurant is fantastic. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much!

We stopped by here last Wednesday for some beer tasting and was surprised how great the food were too. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. I like being able to sit outside under the covered walkway and there are plenty of spaces between other tables. Will definitely come back to try some more of their beers and food.
