We went for tuna fishing 31 Hr trip this week 27th and 28 of October. Captain and crew did everything possible to find and catch fish. Sure not everyone get fish but fishing it is not about catching.. lol.. it is about fishing..lol .. Crew was very helpful and polite. Was my first tuna trip ever and I end up with 82 lb yellow fin. , Thanks to advise and help from crew I end up with nice fish. Regarding posts about social distancing,, if any one are so worry then you need stay home or as the prevention you should wear mask all the time, blaming crew and others for own irresponsible acting it is very sick.. Thank you again for unimaginable trip and experience and we are looking forward to see you all again and having fun on your boat very far a way from the land

My son and I went out fishing on the Big Jamaica August 19,2020. We had a good day of fishing especially because we had 2 big Bonito and had a great chance of winning the pool. BUT the very inexperienced mate did the weight-ins and screwed everything up by weighting fish that are not the species of the trip and people who didn’t enter the pool at all. He told us that someone caught a Albacore and we were out. NOT TRUE , albacore wasn’t on the list. So I had my fish filleted and the more experienced mate Congratulates us for winning. I say NO we lost to the albacore and then orders a new weight in (my fish is in a bag now) and the winner is a 4 pound fluke? It was a bluefish, bonito, sea bass trip.... total disaster..... DONT ENTER THE POOL

I went fishing on the big jamaica in mid October for tuna. Definitely a lifetime experience, caught a few tuna. The crew were amazing! The captain put us on to fish the whole time. Jay the first mate helped the whole time , walked me thru the whole process while having a fish hooked. He really cared about us having a good time and catching fish! He's great at his job. The deck hands were also very involved and helped everyone when needed ..all and all it was a great trip ,Definitely worth the money . IF YOUR GONNA GO BIG GAME FISHING OUT OF NEW JERSEY I RECOMMEND THEM EVERYTIME! -MIKE

I can't say that the captain is bad, nor can I say anything bad about the boat other than they continue to cancel trips because of a little wind. I've been on several boats in my life and never have I seen such fright over 3 to 5 foot swells and 10 to 20 knot winds. Just disappointing.
