Unprofessional and costly. Added after the owner replied: I love how you left out the parts where: - I was cursed out in the phone by an employee. - I dropped a boat off and it wasn’t even looked at for months after being quoted 2-3 weeks on the phone. I dropped the boat off in may of 2020, repairs weren’t started until September, and weren’t completed until December. - You retuned the boat to me without the privacy door for the head, and with no drain plug. -You told me there was an oil leak, but I’ve brought it to 2 shops since, and taken the boat out at least 5 times since December, and there’s no oil leak to be found. -The first boat I brought to you for a tune up, your guys broke a spark plug in the well and tried charging 2500 to fix. If you mean to tell me over 8k in repairs for a boat I didn’t see for 7 months, isn’t considered costly, , when compared with other shops, I could have spent half, perhaps I made a mistake calling you costly. If you mean to tell me being ignored when I call about the status of my boat, and whether it will be available on the 4th of July, then Labor Day, then Halloween, etc., if being cursed at by employees, if (what sure does appear like) being lied to about an oil leak you quoted another 1500 to fix, perhaps I made a mistake calling you unprofessional. FYI, replying to a complaint blaming the customer for feeling the way they did, is also unprofessional. So you’re kinda proving my point.

3 years ago I gave a 5 star review on my experience with Charlie and Boat Connection. Today the 5 star still stands. I continue to bring my Classic Mako to Boat Connection because of their honesty and integrity. Whether I have needed a repair or just some advice, Charlie has never steered my wrong. Recently I was scanning through reviews and noticed some 1 stars in there. If you are a big review reader like myself, Do Not get discouraged by reading the low ones. Keep in mind there are 2 sides to every story. Sometimes people only hear what they want to hear and then get mad and post stuff based on their perception. I can honestly say that Charlie and Andy do a great job. If you are unhappy with your current boat mechanic or just looking for another place to try, look no more. These guys are great!

After a full week of rain, my wife and I were excited to get on the water. Shortly after getting on the water I noticed our motor running rough. As always we brought to the guys at Boat Connection. Andy was able to find some water in our fuel. Great price and quickly done. Thanks you guys!

Horrible experience. Charlie quoted outdrive service 3-5 days I ended up picking up boat after 3 weeks later untouched, frustrated, and dealing with constant excuses, having to constantly visit shop a cause poor communication, non responsible people. They left my new parts out in rain to be damaged after me asking everyone where can i place them or can you bring them in. after 3weeks of waiting gives me ultimatum to either take boat or leave it for another week to see if he can get to it. Really!? since when does a 4-6 hour job take over a month? then catches harsh feelings when I took my boat couldn't even excuse himself and avoided coming out and speaking with me. reason I'm writing review.... I took boat to another shop and dropped it off this morning and they promised me to get it back by no later than mid next week and I received a follow up phone call same evening of parts delivery tomorrow latest Saturday. Boat connection complains of being so backed up and doesn't even open the service yard for mechanics to work on weekend? kind of BS is that?
