Blue Ridge Wildlife Center has helped us a number of times! Just recently we found a baby bird on the ground and it appeared that the nest had been attacked. After treating it, they talked us through how to construct a fake nest to try re-nesting it. The re-nesting attempt was a success, and the parents were no doubt delighted to have their baby safely back up in the trees! We are very glad to be within driving distance of the center!

Had a bunny build a nest in a pot on my deck. Mama didn’t come back so I called and BRWC. Jennifer helped me assess the babies. We determined together through photographs that the babies did need to be fed soon so I bundled them up and took them the BRWC. Beautiful place, VERY nice people and MANY Thanks to Jennifer who helped me through the every exciting experience.

Awesome non-profit wildlife veterinary hospital! Great staff that provides such wonderful service to thousands of wildlife patients each year. The staff are so helpful! Give these guys a call if you have wildlife in need!

I am so grateful to have this center in our community. It is filled with wonderful folks who truly care about wildlife. We have had the best experiences with all staff members from the patient coordinator who does an excellent job with the large number of calls and intakes every day to the rehabbers who work So hard caring for all the animals behind the scenes and everyone in between. My children have learned so much participating in many of the activities they offer like the summer camps, open houses and booths at their fundraising events. Thank you for doing this important work!!!

Happy to take in any native creature. Don't bring deer as they typically have terrible diseases that cures don't exist for. Camp is usually fun, and you get to spend a lot of time outside.

Very condescending and seemed unwilling to help. If someone reaches out to you asking for help don't assume they are doing everything wrong without asking them any questions. Licensed or not some people are knowledgeable and are trying to do the right thing. But thanks for the attitude and list of numbers
