To any potential future customers of Sytner in Edinburgh, please read this review before you think about purchasing a used, or new car. I can only describe my experience as being absolutely terrible, and what appears to be fraudulent and underhand. In all my years of buying dozens of cars, I've never been treated like this. My review is factual, each statement is fact, with pictures to back it up. On Wednesday the 23rd of December 2020 I contacted Bentley Edinburgh about a used Range Rover Sport, white in colour, an Overfinch model, registration Y20 JLO. I spoke with one of the members of the showroom staff who told me the car was for sale, onsite, and available to be purchased at the advertised price of 37,000. I told the staff member I would travel through within the hour to buy the car. I travelled all the way from Glasgow as I promised, and I got there within the hour like I said I would. After having my details & temperature taken, I was then met by a Kenneth Purdon, the Sales Manager of Bentley Edinburgh, who I can only describe as being blunt, arrogant, and rude towards me. Kenneth then proceeded to tell me that the car was sold. Then told me the car is not for sale. Even though 1 hour before it wasn't sold. The car was still on their forecourt, with no Sold sign on it, and the advert was still online saying the car was for sale. As you could imagine I was highly disappointed, I wasted my time, my fuel, my energy, and was treated and spoken to in a way that was unacceptable. As if matters couldn't get any worse... The very next day the car was advertised by Sytner BMW Leicester at 49,750!! Sytner, The same Company selling the car for 12,750 more! Terrible, underhand, fraudulent service. I would highly recommend choosing another franchised dealer for your next new or used car. I am highly disappointed.

I went bk to Bentley showrooms yesterday morning an afternoon to take pictures of these lovely cars there an the staff are very helpful indeed an this lady said to me would you like coffee or tea an i said to her white coffee please so i got my coffee but it was hot so i took some pictures of the Bentley cars in showrooms an went bk to my coffee an it was great, i speak to one of the boss there that i new of him the last time i was there but these lovely cars in this place brilliant,

One star is generous! Older slender salesman EXTREMELY rude- horrible experience! Visited the store with a few friends and were instantly judged on what we were wearing. Wanting to have a look at the interior of the new Continental GT, I opened the door to which the salesmen shouted from his desk "OI". In disbelief, my friends and I looked up wondering what had happened. He was staring at us in disgust saying "DO NOT SIT INSIDE AS WE SPEND THOUSANDS TO POLISH THE INTERIORS". I explained to him we were only opening the door to have a look inside, after which he asked: "are your hands clean". My friends and I were EXTREMELY offended and couldn't believe what was going on. He continued saying that all the cars were locked implying that he did NOT want us near any of the cars. This salesmen is a foul, judging, discourteous being and would not have treated any grey-haired suited man in this manner. Utterly HORRIBLE experience when just next door Porsche treat you so well and respectfully. I would advise dealing with Bentley Glasgow where the salesmen are much more courteous and polite! Avoid these ill-mannered salesmen at Bentley Edinburgh at all costs.
