One of the best rooms I've stayed in at this price point. Cats liked it too. Although, a server said "gosh darn" to me and I had to do the entire rosary lol

A lovely looking hotel. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Rooms were clean. Fridge and aircon were in the rooms. The restaurant was lovely - a very nice menu and food was good.
Rustic Charm If you're looking for a unique place to get a yummy bite to eat, or grab a souvenir and stretch your legs a bit, you've come to the right place. The Bear's Claw Lodge is loaded with rustic charm and character. From the real hewn logs to the beautiful hardwood floors and gorgeous views, you'll be transported to another place where you can, at least temporarily, forget about sky scrapers and traffic jams. I didn't stay in one of the rooms, but I imagine it would be keeping with the integrity of the rest of the establishment. It was pretty busy when I was there for lunch, and with only two waitresses and all the covid restrictions, they handled it well. Most restaurants have friendly staff. These girls were happy and personable. I prefer that.
Very clean! Im OCD and check everything! Space is smaller but very comfortable. I feel the beds, linens and pillows were better quality compared to other motels. Super cozy and friendly staff. They had a very cute gift shop inside the main lodge, quality artisan creations. Overall a lovely stay and would stay again if i’m in town. Thanks little bear creek :)
Great reduced price due to A/c needing repair.... colder night in mid summer so worked out just fine. Good morning breakfast menu too!
To be fair, there are not many (if any) updated options on Hwy 97. We booked two rooms - both were a bit dingy and in need of an update (paint, rugs, new bedding). (However, a neighbour, who said they have stayed in all Cache Creek locations, said that this is the best). We were glad we had our own blanket in the car and did not use the tired looking comforter on the bed. We liked that we could sit outside our rooms and have a drink. We went for a nice walk in the morning - there is a lovely municipal park just across the river behind the motel. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Breakfast was great. All the staff were very friendly. They should upgrade their COVID precautions (for example, the server handed my wife a plastic menu that she had just retrieved from another table; no masks, etc.). This is really a 3 star (if that), but I would stay here again (with my own blanket) due to the friendly and helpful staff and the fact that we could sit outside our room.
Second time in two months to eat here when I've been passing through. Good food! Great stop for traveller's to grab a meal and a beverage!
The bed and pillows were comfy, our jacuzzi tub rocked. We were playing in a baseball tournament in Ashcroft and it was a short drive away. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is delicious!!
