The Promise Of Silence\ in the Botanic Garden in Bayonne. Lovely flowers to give pleasure to my eyes. A taste of nature with a wild touch.

This page proves that bigger isn't always better. A cute little botanical garden arranged in a Japanese style and with a mixture of European and Japanese plants. I particularly liked the pine trees which looked like huge bonsais and the small giant bamboo forest (two oxymorons in I've sentence..lol)

Small and cosy garden, with a remarkably rich variety of species for its size! The Asian corner was my favourite, but I'm sure that in spring or summer the other areas would have stood out more. Special mention to the exhibition area, also small but relevant and entertaining.

Nice little botanical gardens done in a Japanese style if not quite as ordered as a Japanese garden. Nice place to spend 30-45 minutes. Make sure you check opening hours before visiting as shuts for lunchtime and is not open on Sundays and Mondays.
