First time trying Batuqui, and we are disappointed it took us so long. The food was delicious, cocktails were perfect, the packaging was excellent, especially the mason jars for the drinks. The carnation tucked into the bag was a special touch! We can't wait to come enjoy their outdoor space.

We are not traditional in the sense that we celebrate holidays when we want to. So my husband made reservations to have our Valentines dinner 3 days later at this Brazilian restaurant. The place is an adorable house. Once inside it is super cozy. It was a if he had reserved the place to ourselves (even though it wasn't) but it made it for an intimate dinner we could enjoy. They sat us right by the cozy fireplace. Everyone from the waitress to even the owners were absolutely lovely. The food was so good, cooked to order and full of flavor. It was beautifully displayed and did not have to wait a long time for it. If there was something that so happened not to be available, they shared other recommendations for us to try. You can tell the owners are very attentive. After a while we sparked small talk with the owners and they were so kind. Gave you the feel of family, home and that's something that can tend to be lost in a busy restaurant. The kind words of Chef Carla were very touching to me. I'm glad that we have discovered this place. A must go to if you're new in the area like us. We just moved from Texas late November. So having discovered this gem is very nice. If I could give more I would but 5 stars all the way!

Honestly, this is my favorite restaurant in Cleveland. Authentic Brazilian food that everyone loves. I have never had anything bad here. Muito obrigado!
