Great place for take away BBQ plus the customer service is excellent! We ordered the whole hog BBQ box, it came with 4 different salads, flatbreads, sauces and pickles. Really delicious food, the meat was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Food really good but they need to clarify little bit stronger that thus is outdoors with no heating. Other than that was quirky and different
baste food was really nice and the customer service was spot on. its spacious and quite big for out door eating and drinking which is good. only big downfall is they really need to get out door heaters around as it was so cold sitting there, I know its completely out doors but I think heaters around each table or something would guarantee them more customers on cold days.
Went to Baste last night and had their take out option. The food was amazing. Loved the sides - Definitely the best BBQ food in Dublin! Will be back soon to try out more from the menu and sit in the well spaced outdoor area!
Drove right past this new BBQ joint in Harold’s Cross and quickly made a u-turn to check it out. Being a Texan, I am constantly on the watch for BBQ options. For now it’s only take away sandwiches. So I order the pulled pork meal. Meal came with a potato salad. Potato salad not for me. The pork itself was gorgeous. Moist and not doused in sauce. Well balanced with spices and touch of smoke. Also on the sandwich is coleslaw that light and not mayonnaise-y. The BBQ was sweet with a very light touch of spice. The bun was soft and flavorful. Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken sandwich. I hope before I return to TX in a few weeks I can try the rest of the menu. So far so good.
Best BBQ food I have tasted! Love the fact no choice is needed as they will just bring you a variety of delicious meats. The sugar pit rib was unreal. Cooked for 8 hours. I'll be back to try their take out menu this week.
Poor service, lights kept cutting out & a cold dining area (1 barrel fire to heat entire area doesn't work). Food OK but not good value for money. Waited over an hour for wine that was requested 3 times.
Relaxed Christmas Dinner with friends. Lovely staff. Great food.
