Zapote Bridge
N/A
Good for kids
Looking back, this bridge indeed is a very historical place that connects Las Piñas City and Baccor, Cavite. This lies and serves as a border of the said towns even way back then making it popular for merchants main route for trade, industry and passageway going to Manila during the Spanish era. At the moment, a commemorative bridge has been made beside the modern bridge that replaces the old bridge of the past. The new bridge serves as a historical marking to remember the Spanish war between the Katipuneros who have lost their lives during the battle of Zapote Bridge. This bridge also known as the \Tulay ng Pinaglabanan\. Likes: this new bridge serves as a little plaza for onlookers, also a very good place for travellers on foot, very nice statues all with caption to educate passers by. Dislikes: garbage on the foot of the stairs, squatters on the front side of the statues with their belongings makes the place dirty, unkept and very untidy. Over all I really like the ambiance of the area
