I recently visited ATV Bikes Ltd. (Aberdare) to enquire about having my Quadzilla Cforce 450s serviced, which was originally purchased from them in 2017 at a cost of nearly 5000. I was told the service would cost 168, I thought it was a bit expensive but was told by the owner that they would: Clean the bike Change the oil and filter Change the air filter Change the coolant (which he made a point of saying was expensive as it’s not the same coolant as that used in a car) Grease all the grease nipples. I collected the bike later that afternoon, it had NOT been cleaned, there was engine oil spilt on the step, and I was informed by the filter that he had ‘topped the coolant up’ - even though I was told it would be changed. The following morning I noticed the air cleaner box was covered in old dust, so it had obviously not been opened. I Telephoned the business immediately only to be assured by the business owner that he himself had actually changed the air filter on this quad and that it was an orange coloured air filter. When I stated that the filter was actually covered in black foam and the air filter itself was white with black ends, he then decided that he’d forgot to change the air filter! When I called into the business later that day, the fitter informed me that he had NO intention of changing the filter or coolant as the bike had only done 1000 miles, even though I was specifically told by the owner in front of the fitter that it would be done. This bike was purchased from them in 2017, and this is how they treat their past customers. Absolutely shocking! I would definitely NOT recommend this company, nor would I believe a word they say. They may be ok at putting a bike together from China out of a crate, but they are definitely not competent or trustworthy enough to service a quad.
