I was an out of state Executor without a clue of how to begin with settling my Aunt’s estate. I contacted the Hillsborough County Bar Association for advice and referrals, got 3 names from the representative (Lupe) along with suggestions for other services that I needed. Lupe couldn’t have been any kinder or more helpful. The attorney I chose was professional, and handled my Aunt’s estate efficiently and her fees were very reasonable. If you find yourself in a situation like mine, you can’t go wrong by contacting the Hillsborough County Bar Association.

Do not waste your time or money. I went on the website 2 separate times and paid the 35 fee twice for a refferal totaling 75. The first time the refferal did not take my case the next one didn't either. I spoke with Lupe who did freely send out more referals but after speaking with them none could take my case. I then called and left messaged and emails demanding a refund because none of the attorneys could help. They became very unprofessional and did not return my calls or emails neither did I receive a refund. They should charge only if and when the attorney is able to help. Im giving a 3 star for the kindness and willingness to send referals initially.

Lupe, the director of the lawyer referral service is extremely rude. She kept interrupting me when I was asking questions and treating me like a number. She even gave me legal advice by telling me what I and the party being sued can and cannot do. She placed me on hold while I was in the middle of a sentence and is a discredit to the lawyers that use her service.
