Both of my children attend Atlanta Academy and I cannot imagine being happier with a school. Classes are smaller so they get very individualized attention. They enjoy school there so much and seem to be learning something new everyday. The teachers and staff are the absolute best! Everyone is so nice, warm and welcoming. I would recommend anyone sending their children to Atlanta Academy.

Atlanta Academy has been a blessing for my son! He started with AA in K and is now finishing up 3rd grade. The emphasis they place on educating the whole child in a nurturing and challenging environment is amazing. It’s such a positive, warm, inviting, and stimulating school that has provided my son a safe place to learn and grow as a person. I can’t imagine sending him anywhere else. I am so grateful Atlanta Academy is an option for us!

I went to this school for 7th and 8th Grade. I came from The Howard School and from the first day at Atlanta Academy I knew this was my second home. I am not saying I was like I love school so much cant wait to go, but I was not dreading going to school at all. From the kids to the teachers I fell in love. The kids are amazing. You are in loving community. It is not separated by grades when it comes to friends. I loved all my teachers. They taught in a way my brain learned and I cannot express how much help the teachers have been. I struggled with anxiety, ADHD, and some learning disabilities, but with the teachers help I was able to thrive. In 8th grade I remember everyone made there day the best because we all know that we would miss school more than any other school. For graduation, they gave us our picture and all the teachers wrote very meaningful quotes on them and they also gave us a blanket with all our class on it to remind us we are always together no matter how far apart. I can say that my class and i cried the hardest we have ever cried at graduation because we knew that the next day we would not be coming to Atlanta Academy. Another thing they did was have a teacher write a speech for a student and the teacher graduated them. All the students had to guess who the teacher was talking about. I had the greatest experience at this school!

Has the risk of bullying and playing favorites due to being a small, private school. However, it has changed drastically over the years to include a special education program, have students of different cultural backgrounds, focuses highly on involvement and literacy efficacy, as well as has fresh young blood working in the staff. It's still a good school, if not better than when I went there.

In love this school there is no bulling from my perspective and all the teachers are amazing. This my first year here and I was nervous because I had never changed schools before. But as soon I as my shadow day was coming to a end I was so eager to tell my mom all about my day and this was the school for me.It felt like home.
