My usual hire company didn't have a van available so used Ashford Self Hire instead. Long journey to house move my Mum to Kent. On route home noticed a dangerous defect in the tyre so had to call breakdown and a tyre replacement company was called. Once they arrived they had to replace another tyre which was bald on the edge. 4 hours I was waiting in all and when I dropped the van back I didnt even get an apology. Then to top it off the guy described to me as the boss nearly hit me whilst moving another van around the yard too fast . Needless to say I won't be going back there

Friendly staff, wide range of clean, well maintained vehicles and enough of them for me to extend my hire time at short notice. They also allowed me to leave my car in their compound which was a bonus.

Always had no problems here, but just hired a Luton, it leaked inside the shelf, like a waterfall on some of my clothes and items from my house move. Barely acknowledged the fact that it happened..ignored me and left me outside waiting for me to leave.

Took my van in for repairs following a MOT failure. Very quick in giving an estimation of costs to repair, booked in quickly. Slight difficulty in one of the repairs so they stayed late to resolve and took it for a retest. Staff friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to get my van back on the road the same day. Highly recommend.
