Having used a major chain carpet store in the past, I was put off changing more carpets due to the amount of work I'd need to do clearing, disposing and vacuuming when changing carpets. I came across Ascent carpets googling and I have been very impressed with Barney from start to finish. I had a specific idea in mind for the stairs and he rose to the challenge. I didn't need to visit the showroom he brought samples with him. Barney and Dan did a fantastic job in the installation, moving all the furniture, doing a very professional job laying the carpets and moving the furniture back and vacuuming afterward. They worked tirelessly. Superb job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. PS. I am not related to the earlier reviewer! Their review did help convince me to call Barney and I was not disappointed.

Hello Barney I recently had 30 meters of Axminster carpet which I required to be laid on the hall stairs and landing of house in Windsor. This presented something of a challenge since it had been pre-cut for another floor plan where it was not required, and was a tartan pattern. Barney rose to the challenge and did an excellent job with the pattern matching and joins required. I'm not sure what fuel his engine runs on but he worked for nine hours without a break for food or drink! Recommended without reservation. Richard Carter
