Mark has done a couple of projects in my home in the past 3 years. Most recently, he helped me design my basement plumbing and mechanical layout in preparation for it to be a finished space. It was a massive project, and Mark provided incredibly useful insight and knowledge through every step of the process. He did an amazing job and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. He does great work and I’ll continually have him back every time we have the need.
We have used Mark a couple times for work at our home. We have been extremely pleased with the quality of his work. Mark explains what needs to be done, points out where the issues are, and if there are various options for replacement. He provides a clear estimate of potential costs and is honest! I would highly recommend Mark and ALM for your plumbing needs.
I had a stain on the ceiling right below my upstairs bathroom which was there when I bought my house, but over the course of a year it grew ever so slightly bigger so I decided to call Mark just to double check I wasn't insane. Sure enough I had a leak somewhere within the wall behind my shower which was very slowly dripping whenever I took a shower which is why I wasn't sure if the stain was getting bigger or not. After finding out what needed to be replaced (a valve and some potentially faulty fixtures) he recommended this could be a perfect opportunity to update my shower fixtures. So after I made a quick trip to home depot, he went straight to work taking his time to make everything was done properly. After he was done, he went ahead and checked my faucets and toilets to make sure they were working as best as possible he tweaked my toilets so now they flush better and tweaked the stoppers on my sinks so they slide easier. After all was said and done the bill came out to 300 for about 3 hours which was way less than I thought. He truly went above and beyond. I will be calling Mark again for any of my plumbing needs. Highly Recommend!!!
If you need a plumber, I strongly recommend Mark at Area Lakes Mechanical. He provided great service at a reasoanable rate, looked for ways to save me money and taught me a few things that I will be able to do myself in the future. Great guy and great job!! I will be recommending Mark to family and friends in the area.
