Beautiful Chicago

Expired Dairy, breads, Meats and none perishables. Months past its expiration. Asks household size but only give enough food for one person

My aunt had her funeral here. They were VERY accommodating especially since the cemetery hadn't dug her plot so that pushed our time frame behind. I can't thank them enough

The food pantry staff make you feel very important. They truly are serving the people as God instructed. Glorifying His holy Name

Totally awesome. We visited during my husband's birthday weekend, which happened to be the Women Retreat. GOD has an awesome way of having you be at the right place at the right time. I was seated in the lobby as the women came in to register. There virtue and characters on display to be witnesses for Christ no matter what situations occured. Later on we were heading to the pool and heard them clapping and the speaker talking about trials and not to let them overtake you and to keep your eyes on GOD. The young lady at the door was so sweet, welcoming and persistent in me coming in and I very much wanted and needed to be there. The young lady went and got the First Lady of the house and she came out to meet me and she was so kind, sweet, gentle, welcoming and virtuous. I have not felt that from a First Lady in over 30 years. Needless to say that we visited that Sunday before heading home to Ohio. I have not been to church in 2 years after being fed up with folks playing church and wondered will the real church please stand up? There are so many pastors, shepherds, evangelists, and apostles losing the way and prostituting the gospel. It felt so refreshing to feel the love of Christ. I needed that! We told the First Lady that we will be back when visiting Chicago again. I couldn't wait until we realize that we have our furry child with us. So we won't be able to attend on our upcoming trip. Wouldn't it be nice to have a pet ministry? It's something about their unconditional love.!!
