The ice cream is rich and delicious. Just know that the price is a little high and the sizes are quite large. It will also be important that you bring cash, as its cash only. Plenty of street parking in the area for people driving to get there. They have lots of flavors and plenty of options for all different types of ice cream lovers!

I've seen some reviews here and on Yelp complaining about it being cash only, and then people becoming upset when they are told so. Firstly, there's an ATM on a diagonal corner, and second, there's not a whole lot employees can do if you don't have cash on you. In any case, I live up the street from Annette's and they have always been lovely, no matter the line or any questions I ask about flavors or prices. It's tasty, and I'd much rather support a small business than a larger conglomerate :-)

Walked 2.5 miles because I was craving Annette's only to find out they are closed for the season. Yes I checked online before walking over, would have been nice if they updated their website or google page to indicate they were closed, but nothing. Luckily Jenni's was open.

Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. Quick, helpful, and friendly service. The prices are good for what you get. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.

Quaint little spot in the Lincoln Park area. I tried the ice cream and am looking forward to the ice and yogurt.
