Amazing! I had my other knee replaced a couple of years ago , done by a different surgeon, and wow- there is no comparison. Dr. Dold did an awesome job! Just 6 weeks out and I feel like a new person- mobile and pain free. Great care from the entire team, physical therapy included.

Hip replacement surgery is a big deal especially when you’re (relatively) young. But so is living in excruciating pain every single day. I was at a point where my life became \small\ and the things I love to do had become impossible, like skiing, golfing, exercising, and biking. In fact, basic things like sleep had become difficult waking every 90 minutes because of pain while my baseline pain level and movement-related spikes grew increasingly worse. I consulted three providers before selecting Star Orthopedics and Dr. Dold. I found Dr. Dold to be thorough, direct, and most importantly curious about my activity goals WHEN the current health crisis was resolved. His questions and answers made me confident that he was the right surgeon to get my life back. I’m now 2-weeks out of surgery and can say the pain that had plagued every part of my life is gone! Just 3 days after surgery I was sleeping a full night without waking and feel energized every day. Physical Therapy is going great, my strength is rapidly returning and I expect to be on the golf course next week! Dr. Dold’s skill as a surgeon and vision for my life post-op made this possible. I am so grateful for his care! I just had my initial visit with Dr. Dold to review the condition of my knees and I have to say I was very pleased and impressed. Dr. Dold took the time to personally review my knee condition with me and explained in detail to me what would be involved in the journey to getting knee replacement surgery. He did not rush anything, encouraged and answered all my questions thoroughly and professionally. I did not know what to expect when I came in for the visit but everyone from the receptionist, the PA and Dr. Dold were amazing to work with.
