What a gem! An unassuming restaurant in the outskirts of Amsterdam, my girlfriend and I stumbled on this during a wander. Despite being dinner time, the restaurant was quite quiet with only a couple of tables occupied. The service from the owner was homely and welcoming delivering us a starter of delicious, homemade samosas that were off menu. The food we ordered blew us out of the park and tasted absolutely fantastic. It has made us both crave Ethiopian/Eritrean food ever since! We were so happy with our experience here and really wish that more people could share our experience. If you are in Amsterdam, this place is worth the tram journey!

This restaurant had very tasty food, beautifully served, and the owner is an extremely nice lady. The food here goes for quality not quantity, so take your time to await your order!! It’s worth it!!
Delicious food, warm and friendly service. Slightly chaotic, but it ads to the charm! Definitely recommended!
The food is good. The quantity served can be better. The service is annoying. They try to go for "we are family" but end up making sexist and stereotyping jokes, fat shaming, interrupting your dinner too many times, and almost forcing you to order more. The place looks cool and is very clean. But I will never go back there, as I know I cannot have any meal in peace.

Service takes a long time. And all the tablecloths are dirty. We where pushed into ordering starter we didn’t even want. As side to all dishes are boring salat with no flavor or taste. But the worst is the hot dishes, or should I say the lack off it. Luke warm/ cold food from the microwave is served, and what is fronted as Eritrean food is bland and tasteless. Both me and my dinging partner felt sick after dining there. FYI, we both are foodies and dine out all the time. Stay away.
Fresh food and novel tastes, friendly staff. If you like spicy food, let them know, so you'll get a more authentic taste, instead of dutch-ified version of the dish ;)
