I’m an illustrator so during my trip to Amsterdam, I was looking for children’s books to bring back home that were culturally important to Amsterdam / Netherlands. The staff was so unbelievable helpful and knowledgeable. The book they recommended wasn’t in stock but they ordered it for me and I got it a day or 2 later. I absolutely loved the books they recommended and they are part of my treasured collection now. I really can’t wait to be able to visit again, and go trough all the beautiful books they have!

A lovely little bookstore, that is totally up- to- date, in the Westerstraat, in the middle of the not that touristy part of Jordaan. As i have heard from many friends living in this neighborhood, the best place to find a good book. It has as well an English section, newspapers, magazines, postcards and more....if you are in the neighborhood just pop in, and feel the atmosphere.
