My partner and I were looking for a self-drive boat hire for the day and having seen so many reviews describing dishonest companies around the area, I came across Amalfi Boats. After ringing the company I communicated with an incredibly helpful lady Mena, who not only sorted out the booking for us in English, but also recommended a very reasonable parking service. Normally in Amalfi it's 5/hr. We paid about half that for someone to come and pick the car up from us and drop it back when we returned. Whilst picking up and dropping the boat back, which were in great condition and comparable in price to the far dodgier sounding local competitors, the staff were very helpful and friendly. If I ever come back to Amalfi I'll definitely be booking a boat with this company again and can wholeheartedly recommend them. I especially want to thank Mena for all her help and patience, you made our day!

We had an awesome experience with the Capri tour from Amalfi Boats. Our boat driver was very knowledgable and stopped to explain each of the key points of interest along the coast (famous hotels, private islands, the popular grottos, Positano, etc...). He also stopped for us to swim twice (once each way) for about 10 or 15 minutes which was very refreshing after having been in the sun for so long -- we were even given beach towels to dry off after our swim which was really nice. The boat we were on was fairly large and fit our group of 10 comfortably. We had the option of sitting on the sun deck at the front of the boat, on a leather couch behind the boat driver or on the sun beds at the tail end of the boat. We arrived at Capri around noon and left at 4pm which was ample time to explore the island. On the way back we were also offered a choice of water, beer, or pop which was a really nice touch. 10/10 would recommend this company.
Great guys, friendly service, good price and perfect boat. If you want a good boat for half day or day, this is the place to be in Amalfi.
We stayed 2 days in Amalfi and renting a boat with Amalfi Boats was the highlight of our trip. We went from Amalfi to Li Galli islands and from there to Capri which was fabulous! We've got two different boats for the two days and both of them were well maintained. The owner Mena and the person who instructed us how to drive them were very kind! I definitely recommend them for a boat rental!
I was traveling alone to Amalfi and found it difficult to book for myself my hotel La bussola recommended them to me and was a little nervous at the beginning but my experience was amazing they picked me up as planned the tour was in English and they went beyond the line of duty with several stops like green grotto, Positano, Capri, blue grotto please Flavio can’t thank you enough and will recommend you to everyone I know Thank you sooo much and to our captain great driving and thanks for bringing me back to shore safe and the group of people in the boat super nice
