I moved to Alvin in 2007 and established care with UTMB in 2017 because I was driving too far to see my regular family doctor. I have been exceedingly pleased with UTMB. My medical lab tests results, treatment summaries, meds and billing information is available to me instantly through their portal. these records are available to all the UTMB facilities whenever I go see their specialist. They are able to take care of all my medical needs. They have facilities just about everywhere. Their support staff have always been top-notch professionals. Their doctors and specialist are extremely knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend UTMB to anyone.

This place don't even deserve a 1. My son broke his arm on Saturday and was put in a temporary cast. I was told I would receive a call from the radiologists on how bad it was broke, on Sunday, Sunday no call, I had to call them, oh they will call you back. Monday rolls around no call, I called oh they will call you back, Tues same issue, I told them, he is in a temporary cast, then they proceed to tell me, oh he has been referred to a Orthopedic Surgeon in Galveston, but yet, I don't know this because they never called to tell me. WTH UTMB..... I have never had such unprofessionalism as I have with this place. I will go to Dr. Burke, I never had a problem with him. You really should be ashamed the way you treat people, we all are just trying to get by and deal with the struggles of daily life,

I will never go back here. I came here Monday because I was getting a sinus infection and congestion and I did not want to get Pneumonia again. so they tested me for Covid19 and strep because my throat was hurting because of the drainage. so I could not get any medication. Tuesday night my test results came back negative. I wrote to the NP that night. Wednesday did not here back called to see if the doctor would want to see me and they wanted to do another covid19 test because of my symptoms. Found another clinic that took care of me. EVERYTHING is NOT Covid19. They need more training and take care of people that do not have it and answer them back. If I waited I would have been in the hospital with Pneumonia. This place is a joke.
