They supplied & fitted large patio door & double window & two storey curtain window with door. The fitter broke a pain of glass in patio door. So they came back a week later to fit new glass. Then messed up lock adjustment & doors also became stiff in runners. Window glass left dirty. Broken glass & debris from the old window they replaced not cleared up properly. A different fitter back a week later & correctly adjusted lock & runners. A few days later, we cleaned the patio doors & noticed water building up in channel the doors run in. So fitter had to come back yet again & remove a plank from new balcony to inspect to find the drain holes hadn't been drilled in the factory. So he drilled the holes, but we had to get balcony installer back to repair broken plank which they paid for. So basically loads of aggravation caused by bad fitting. The products are OK though. But I won't be requesting them to come & quote for the new conservatory we're intending to have fitted. Too much stress & aggravation trying to get them to do things right ! And no apology. They seem to think that now things are OK, then there's nothing to apologise for. They lack the will to get things right 1st time.

I searched the UK and EU for best quality aluminium doors, value for money and found AWL to be very customer centric, efficient and on time delivery. My huge bi-fold doors were installed on my house extension on time, by experienced installers and in one afternoon. The quality of this product is solid, long lasting and has not changed since installation more than a year ago! Sharon and Terry made this expensive investment an easy decision after viewing the products at their premises. I highly recommend AWL and their products and would instantly return for more if/when needed.

We looked around at several types of doors and decided bifold doors from Aluminium Windows Ltd were the ones to go for. They were so helpful, giving us exactly what we wanted and we could see a good example before we ordered. Prices were good too, especially when compared to elsewhere.They were quick, prompt and polite and we were really pleased with the end result. With the recent hot weather the doors have been put to good use!! Can thoroughly recommend this company.

We love our bi-fold doors that were fitted last July and have had no problems with the quality of the doors or the fitting - no second visit was required (as we have heard of other fitters). They didn't arrive quite as quickly as we hoped (as AWL were busy) but we were kept up to date by Sarah of when they would arrive. We felt they were good value. Would happily use AWL again.

After shopping around for bi-fold doors, Aluminium Windows Ltd were recommended to us by a friend. The doors were fitted on the day promised and a window was also fitted the same day and were very competitively priced. One pane of glass was cracked but that was replaced a few days later as promised. We are happy with the quality and service provided and will be using them again for our back door when the building work is completed. Thank you

After lots of research, I went with AWL for the bifolds and window for my garden office. Although they had a few issues with the powder coating, they still managed to get the doors and window delivered quickly and fitted with no hassle. The quality of the doors is very high and they were very competitive on their pricing. I would definitely use them again.

Between April and end of July 2017, this company installed replacement Bi-fold doors. The first set was manufactured wrong, in opening out instead of in, but they replaced them with correct ones with no hassle. The work was to a good standard but not the best, with small niggling problems. Instead of measuring to my existing wooden stud framework, the new frame was measured brick to brick and the original wooden studs torn out but, on fitting, left a gap of approximately 25mm on both sides. This was filled with expanding foam and trim hidden but no packing spacers to screw into to secure the frame, screwing through the gap to the brickwork instead. Dome headed screws in the base of the frame, had to be replaced with countersunk heads, to allow the slide door to open over them properly The doors which have no hinge adjustments are now dragging on the frame and the floor, having appeared to settle downwards making it slightly difficult to open and close them and causing some of the rubber trim to be dislodged at times. It is not too much to put up with, and I would worry if the frame had to be reset due to the above. Generally speaking, the finish job was ok. The Company responded to this review, saying they believed that I had not advised them of the door problem and that they would get in touch with me, to ensure full satisfaction. They have not done so so far. I HAD advised them on a second visit for other work, where I was to!d there was not much that could be done I have found that the problem was slipping hinges on the last door and, have reset them myself, hopefully to last.

After a bit of research, I chose AWL to supply and fit my bi-fold doors, whilst I have no issue with the quality of the doors themselves I cannot say the same for the company. After the installation, I was left with a rather large gap around the whole of the door frame. After contacting AWL they replied that a trim is not normally required as the doors are usually made to measure and fit snuggly within the opening. They also added that if a trim were to be required this would be at an additional cost, however on this occasion they would defer the cost and supply a trim. After several weeks this they did, however the trim supplied was as big as the door frame itself and would have almost completely covered the frame, not the finish I was after at all. I suggested a quadrant trim would be more suitable and give a better finish, this met with a lot of resistance, however this was eventually supplied, but on trying to fit the trim the quadrant supplied was too small and fell into the gap around the frame. After several attempts at trying to get AWL to finish the installation I decided the only way to get the job done properly was to source the correct trim myself and get it fitted. Overall after the initial installation this took over six months to complete, just to fit a bit of trim, this was very tiresome and stressful, not what one would expect at all. I would not recommend this company at all in regard to customer service and definitely do not make a final payment until you are fully satisfied with the work.
