The people where very friendly and the shop is clean, I had my work done by James, the man is really good, he spoke with me about how I wanted the ink and he made the draft and editing was no problem, he totally took his time . Great guy as well thank you James your a true Craftsman and artist, see you soon for the tree we spoke about. Btw the healing went great.

There's really not a better and more well rounded ink shop in South Florida. I've been watching Poochs work for over ten years now, and a couple of years ago finally got started on my back piece I've had in mind. I'm about 15 hours in, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the result. Pooch worked closely with me on the design, and made sure it was the vision for the piece I had. It probably helped that I gave him a large amount of creative freedom (and if you're going to one of these artists, you should do the same.) The other artists there are phenomenal as well. Scott White is my girlfriend's tattoo artist, who worked to make sure she was 100% on board with the design and the final result. It was her first tattoo, and she hasn't experienced a moment of anything other than elation of how it turned out. Dean's work is amazing too, ESPECIALLY if you're considering a horror theme. I don't have as a direct of tie to his work, but having spent so much time in the shop, I can certainly speak on how talented he is. Bottom line:Most talent in a single shop I've seen in South Florida. Like any group of artists, they all have very distinct styles...but you cannot go wrong with any of the artists at Altered State.
