After a lengthy morning of trying to get my cousin up and ready for her assessment today in the CHDA building. We were told at the reception desk she no longer had her appointment due to the doctor running over allocated times. One of the receptionist called Magoa Bulka told us that my cousin was contacted at 2pm today to inform her that her appointment wouldn’t be able to go ahead. When Magoa was asked to review my cousins contact details to ensure she had called the right number... she actually couldn’t find a number. Magoa then went back to check she was actually talking to the right person. My cousin at this point was having a panic attack and clawing her arm due to the anxiety and stress caused by Magoa’s lack of knowledge. I have now had to take my cousin to the chemist and her arm was bandaged due to her taking the skin away and drawing blood. Magoa was very unprofessional and walked away from the desk shouting ‘can somebody else deal with this... I just can’t’ Magoa then walked out of the office huffing along the corridor. I was in utter disbelief at her lack of compassion towards the situation and how my cousin was feeling. Thank fully a nurse named Janet was on hand to take over. She was able to calm my cousin down and is now solving the issue of the appointment being delayed. Janet was very helpful and calm if needed to go back again I would request to speak to Janet.

Easy to find hard to find a parking space and the multi story car park at the back of it costs a fortune make sure you have enough money to get out cost us 16.50 for couple of hour's
The staff here were caring and very helpful but the service and red tape is awful...i was left waiting nearly 2 hours only to be told that there wasn't a member of staff qualified enough to deal with my case....they made the mandatory appointment for me...i wasn't here by choice!!! Eventually after my partner kicked up a bit of a fuss on my behalf I was told that someone would be able to deal with me but only after another 40 minute wait!!! All this for an appointment that when finally concluded took all of 20 minutes....very stressful and left in a lot of pain mainly due to the uncomfort of my lengthy wait!!!!
Stay away from this place you could go in with your last breath no arms or legs be deaf dumb riddled with cancer and they will still say your fit too work (and then stop all your benefits without telling you there going too)
Recently attended an assessment. Staff were wonderful, which came as a surprise as I'd been told they were awful. I guess it all depends on how you are with them. Cannot fault them as they were gracious and helpful... And pleasant!
