Had great experience on first visit. Second visit was exact opposite. Putting an employees personal agenda before customer service is a bad look and even moreso when it's done in a rude and dismissive way. Under current conditions you would think proprietors would go the extra mile for customers braving quarantine to patronize their business. Unfortunately some people can't see this and are willing to forego future business and positive referrals. Update: Thank you for your feedback. I didn't know it was closing time when I arrived so it was definitely a surprising response when I tried to order. Sometimes a momentary interaction can give an incorrect perception so I will return again in the future. Please send my regards to your employee as we can often personalize experiences without full info. Thank you

Decided to switch out from traditional turkey for our ‘Covid-Christmas’. We went with these filet mignons from Findleys instead. They were AWESOME. Perhaps one of the best steaks I’ve had! Also, I’m a newbie at this stuff and the staff were so helpful and friendly when we picked these cuts out. We also picked a rack of lamb which we glazed in balsamic and honey last night and they were tremendous too! Some might find this place pricey compared to supermarket but I say its worth every single penny!

Some nice products and their frozen fish turned out to be very nice and fresh. Their smoked nova salmon on the other hand was off. It was sour and not safe to eat. I called to let them know, so that they would check the remaining stock to make sure not to sell more that had gone bad. Kurt decided to give me the third degree about the temperature of my fridge and told me to bring the opened fish with me so they can take a look at it when I come back. Well, don't worry. I won't be back. I shouldn't have to explain that my refrigerator is in good working order and that I know what fresh lox tastes like. Hard pass on ever returning.

As a personal chef, I depend on high quality meats to satisfy my clients. I needed 2 - 3lb Chateaubriand roasts for a recent dinner. Findley folks laid out 6 tenderloins for me to choose from. I selected 2. They were cut, trimmed and off I went. They were both outstanding...client was delighted as I was. Thanks guys!!!
