We received incredible service from James at Acorn Dulwich! James took us to see a couple of properties we had booked in, which we felt were too small, so he arranged a viewing for us of a larger flat on the spot. It turned out to be perfect, and we managed to reserve it at a great price within the hour. One week later, we had the keys and were moved in. The support through the admin process was swift, friendly and professional. We are very happy with our new home and the service we received!

Recently sold my flat through Acorn Dulwich. Estate agents were responsive and negotiated well on my behalf once an offer came in. Downside was they had not researched my property before conducting viewings. The best part of the process was that once I had accepted an offer Acorn Dulwich has a sales negotiator, Caroline, who drives the sale through. Caroline was very responsive, and push the solicitors on both sides along to ensure the sale went through, and in good time.

I would be a little hesitant to deal with Acorn again and advice other to be too. For context I’ve lived in London for 10 years and never had any complaints, had great relationships with my landlords and agents. I moved into a property as a tenant. They were very happy to get me in quickly and speedily. But when leaving the property they tired to take the whole of my deposit. A full re-carpeting and decorating of the house was what they were charging me for but that falls under general wear and tear I believe and not the tenants responsibility. I only lived their a year, so you can imagine that’s a bit excessive to put it mildly. But what is most worrying is that they also tried to do the same with the previous tenants who we happen to know. Although Acorn act on behalf of the landlord, I understand they have to do what they want. But there are some questionable ethics here which are strongly weighted against the tenants. A bad landlord partnered with a bad letting agent. A combination that is dangerous for tenants. Hopefully the DPS can solve this dispute for us but it’s a long and painful path to take and would advice potential tenants to be a bit wary of Acorn.

We recently used Acorn to rent a new property. Jade and the team were great! They responded to any questions we had promptly. They were really efficient and everything went smoothly despite there being a national lockdown. Thanks for all your help!

I have used Acorn twice to sell my properties and both times they have been excellent. The staff are friendly yet professional and always timely in their communications. Caroline Copper especially is just incredible. She phoned to keep me up to date on all actions and asked me to chase things as appropriate. I felt like she was family at the end of exchange! I will always come back to Acorn in the future for selling as I really have nothing constructive or negative to say. They are brilliant! From Celeste Hares, Jan 2021
