Our water heater needed replacement and Able plumbing was able to get us back up and running the next day with a new unit. Service by both sales and installers were excellent. I called several plumbing companies and Able was priced very competitive and was able to add a 10 year parts and labour warranty for a minimal charge. Thank you.

Late October our furnace stopped working (high limit error). The pipe fitter that we originally called worked on it for 3 days then said he couldn’t fix it and that we probably needed to replace the 6 year old unit. He even gave us a pretty good quote. But I decided to call Able for a second opinion. I described the problem over the phone and immediately the owner said it sounds like we just need a duct cleaning. He also gave me great advice on using the cheaper pleaded filters that do a better job. He recommended Prairie Dust Busters and he was 100% right. Our furnace works great now. His honesty and great advice will put Able at the top of my call list for future work!

My air conditioning broke down on one of the absolute hottest days we had last summer. A power outage that day may have contributed to the failure. Able Plumbing was the authorized dealer for my system, so I gave them a call (had never used them before). It was the weekend but they had a tech that was on call, get back to me asap. We discussed the a/c issue and extra charge for after hours service. The tech said he'd be by much sooner than I figured. He was right on time and had the problem diagnosed in a matter of minutes. He was very pleasant and informed me of the cost to repair it. There was other issues that needed attention, but he said they could wait until after the weekend, during normal business hours so I wouldn't have to pay the overtime rate for weekend service. He got the a/c working for the weekend and came back early next week to finish the rest of the non-critical work. Charges were extremely fair for labour and parts. Everything has worked perfect since then. I'd highly recommend this company, if you're wondering who to call for your furnace or air conditioning etc. The staff at the front desk are also wonderful to deal with.

We had Jeff come out to take a look at our 1928 coal to gas converted boiler that started making noise and not burning properly. We had another company clean the boiler a week before that but that had not fixed the problem at all. Jeff worked around our busy schedule to make the visit, which we really appreciated. After having a look, he arranged for his technician David to come out and service the system. Before replacing the old gravity fed hot water system (which is quite a project), Jeff determined that giving the unit a really thorough cleaning might get us going again. The tech, David showed up on time and he went to work. He was confident and eager to take it apart and he was very diligent in cleaning the boiler. He found some plugged openings in the manifold and determined that this was the cause of the poor burning. By the time he left, that old boiler was running better than it ever has since we bought the house. We are very impressed with this company and would recommend their services without hesitation. Awesome job, guys!
