Bobby is great and an honest man. Back when I was a boat owner, 1st Mate Marine was my all-in-one savior: service, repair, storage, and towing. I could not have found a harder-working and more dedicated business owner than Bobby. He stands behind his work so much that after I had a repair made, he and I took an afternoon off to cruise on my boat. Not only did Bobby show me around Lake Lanier (I was new to Lake Lanier), he also taught be some important boating lessons that have helped when I occasionally rent a boat. One of the lessons he taught me allowed me to help my young son overcome his fear of driving fast across choppy water. (Thanks Bobby) If you are looking for a boat service/repair business, don't judge a book by its cover. If I ever buy another boat, Bobby and his team will have my business.

Called them to buy a used outboard. Negotiated a price over the phone after the person who answered went to find out if they would take my cash offer. The guy said yes and I came ready to pay only to find out they have no clue what I was talking about and never agreed to the said price. The man not only agreed after repeating our agree upon price, but even made sure I knew they’ll only take cash. Two guys both lying through their teeth after I took off time from work to drive 45 minutes. I even showed them pictures of the two times I called and they acted like I never called. Went home without a motor and they get this nice review. Crooked mechanics. What’s new.

Bobby is a good guy but I was sold a bad battery. I had to go through all the trouble of buying a new battery from Advance. I contacted Bobby and he said he would replace the battery that was bad when his battery guy came but I never received a phone call or nothing about what happened. This was about three months ago and still nothing from Bobby.
