Caleb Meyers reviewed Avery's Maryland Grille
My trip to Avery's Maryland Grille was very good. Their entrees were more than enough for everyone in my party. Given the current climate they were handling everything well and making sure items were cleaned and parties were spaced out. Indoor seating was nice as well as the option of outdoor seating. While I did not eat outside, there were fans outside to keep it cooler. The stuffed flounder was excellent and there were a variety of sides to pick when ordering it. Two others in my party got the Maryland platter which came with potatoes, crabs, shrimp, corn, wings and some celery. Even the hungriest one of our group couldn't finish his dinner. The crab cake was flavorful and the onion rings were cooked perfectly. The crabs both were reasonably sized and had plenty of meat on them to pick. If you were not full enough from dinner, dessert was a good option. There were plenty of dessert options ranging from ice cream to funnel cake fries with a chocolate dipping sauce. The waitress was very nice and even helped show some of the younger members how to pick the crabs. Overall it was a great experience I would highly recommend eating here.
J P reviewed DC Steak House
Always amazing steak, sides, salads, appetizers, and service. In my opinion, the best steak house in town. No flair, no pomp, no razzle dazzle, just good food and wine. I liked their old place better as it had more character and the new place has lost some of it's intimacy. That said, the new place is very nice and comfortable. Not a giant cavernous place. Service here is always impeccable..
Sadie Meyers reviewed Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant
They really did a great job on Valentine's Day. It was a madhouse. The phones were nonstop, tons of people were picking up orders, and people were eating there. I had to wait a bit for my pickup order, but it was worth it. The \two person\V-Day dinner my husband and I ordered lasted us almost 4 days.
