Rarely do I post reviews but I felt compelled to on this occasion after receiving my Big Wa delivery. I've dined in and out of Big Wa many times in the past. I've always enjoyed the food before, BUT not this time. I'm under the assumption after seeing my dinner that Big Wa must have changed ownership. The dishes are not the same dishes I've received in the past. I ordered a sesame chicken and general tso's chicken combination. What I received was the most generic, bland, unappetizing Chinese food EVER. Ive always loved their food before, But what I received was barely palatable. I didn't even receive my egg rolls which may have been a blessing. Both dishes were exactly the same. The only difference was that they sprinkled raw sesame seeds on the sesame chicken. On the general chicken i added cashews. What I got was the exact same entree but 1piece of RAW broccoli and raw cashews were sprinkled on top. My complaints might not sound so bad, but if you tasted the food you'd understand my pain. A MICROWAVE MEAL would've satisfied me more than what they served me. I spent 30 bucks on the food, and I am currently waiting on delivery from another restaurant that I know I can eat. Please Big Wa, if you've changed ownership or management.... change your name so that former loyal customers won't be duped....

Not disappointed at all! Service was great, food was great. Was told the wait time was atleast an hour. Didn't have to wait that long at all, but I do recommend making a reservation. If you've never been there, some thing to know- you will likely not get to cook your steak well done but you can ask for another stone of you want to cook it more. And the bread pudding is delicious!!

I was passing through and wanted crab cakes so i got my friend a traditional and I got the shrimp and mixed crab one. It was really good but my friend REALLY LOVED HERS, SAID IT WAS DELICIOUS. I was super impressed with the gumbo, wasn't a fan of their muffins butttttttttttttt if you dip it in the gumbo, it really takes on a new life.

I am reviewing a second run to this establishment to see if anything changed and unfortunately it did not. I have to run after waitresses to get my order the first time around, the second time around I got a waitress that refused to listen to me. I had to ask for chips twice before actually getting them, I asked the waitress in English how much a bucket of Budweiser was then she said she didn’t understand me so I asked again in Spanish and instead of answering she walks away , I didn’t think much of it so I just let it go. 20 mins later I was brought a bucket of beer (when I literally just wanted to know how much was it) to make it less awkward I just accepted and paid for it, in Karaoke I expressed I wanted to sing and got skipped so I just stopped, I asked for a shrimp cocktail and of course never got it. This is by far the worst experience I have had in a restaurant, figured I’d give it a second chance and see if things would be different and it wasn’t . They were supposed to have a drag show at 8pm and that never happened. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Hopefully they will get it together in the future.
