I really enjoy the food at Papaya. First of all the location of the restaurant is ideally calm. And the terrasse is facing a small and quiet parking lot. The terrasse is totally covered and you have a feeling of being outside without having to cope with the harsh sun or... The sudden rain. The meals now are delicious, from the starters to the deserts it a pleasure to savor each meal. They have Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. And their menus at lunch time are at 13.50e which is very affordable. I just regret that the service was not quick enough as I was having lunch in between work shifts and we also had for some reason quite an amount of flies at our table that bothered us as well, maybe due to the season. Popped in here on Thursday 6th of August 2020 on the off chance that they might have a table for two. We had been here before about a year ago and the food was excellent. We were delighted to be told that they did have a table. After giving contact details and having our temperatures checked we were shown to our table. We shared a sheek kebab for starter and it was really lovely and came with a plate dressed with salad and sauce for the person sharing. Our mains were excellent also and very authentic. The seating and tables were laid out to allow for social distancing which was excellent, we were also made aware from the start that the maximum time would be 90 minutes which was more than generous. The staff and service were excellent. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. We will definitely be back again!
