In all the years that I’ve lived in LA I cannot believe that I JUST tried Murakami. With a simple design, fair prices, and great sushi, there’s a reason why Murakami has the reputation is has. A really great upside for this place is their BYOB (build your own bowl) for chirashi, which isn’t common in most sushi restaurants. Their rolls are a bit more expensive than any other place (not a lot, but the quality truly lives up to the prices. Their desserts are simple, but absolutely delicious. Again, I cannot believe that I JUST found out about this place, but I’m so happy.

The food is absolutely tasty. We started with a half of Spinach Salad which is enough for two people. The fruit was fresh and the honey balsamic vinaigrette...I need a bottle to take home...so good. The Cream of Crab actually has bits of crab in it. Soup is seasoned to perfection. The Traditional Maryland crab cake was absolutely scrumptious with no bun and fries. The meat was fresh and hot upon delivery to our table. Two thumbs up. Definitely go. Eat. Drink. Savor. Enjoy!!!

The antipasto salad was really good despite the ton of onions. I ordered the Cheese Ravioli and since I couldn't decide which sauce I wanted I got two, the tomato cream and pesto. Both sauces were equally good

Best shrimp tempura I’ve had. The server is very attentive and informative. However, because it was my first time and I and my friend are not native English speakers, when the server spoke real fast about what foods we should get, we were kinda lost. But cannot blame her though. Overall, we had a good dinner.
