Great place!! Such a cheap price and took under a minute for me to get my huge bowl of udon. Not to mention the two smiling, friendly staff members that made it that much better.

This udon shop is located in an obscure place, one side street from the main street. The noodles have some waist and the soup is a little sweet and delicious. The sardine broth soup beside the cash register is very delicious.
The first time I went - Meat Udon (肉うどん) and a tap beer (生ビール)。The meat udon was VERY delicious - got the Large portion and it was more than enough. I also got a pumpkin tempura, which was delicious. The second time I went - Curry Udon (カレーうどん) and a tap beer. The curry udon was not so good - noodles were great, but the curry sauce was very average. Highly recommend sticking to the Meat Udon. Also, my beer the second time tasted DISGUSTING. When I advised the staff that it had a strange taste, they just apologised but didn’t offer a refund or a replacement. Might have been the end of the keg... in any case, disgusting. Got another pumpkin tempura and an eggplant tempura - they were great. Great atmosphere - real “Japanese” feel, and seems popular with locals. In conclusion - noodles are great, avoid the curry udon, the tap beer is hit and miss, the meat udon and tempura are fantastic. Staff were friendly enough. Not sure if they’re English friendly, but there’s lots of pictures and such that you can point to. 1回目-肉うどんと生ビールとカボチャ天ぷらにしました。全部は美味しかったです。大盛の量は凄い！ 2回目-カレーうどんと生ビールとカボチャ天ぷらとナス天ぷらにしました。実は肉うどんよりカレーのほうがあんまり美味しくないです。また、生ビールはへんな味がしていました。店員さんに教えたら、謝ってくれたけど、お金とか他のビールをくれませんでした。中盛はちょうどよかった。
We were rudely treated. The broth that came with the beef udon was too salty. Really, we never experienced rudeness in Tokyo, except for here.
