Lovely vegetables and the homemade house tofu was creamy heavenliness. Noodles felt more like きし麺 than ほうとう. Call ahead for vegan broth as standard broth has fish and chicken.

お品書きは　水神ほうとう、ご飯、豆腐、鱒の薫製　のみ。あとは飲み物ほうとう、豆腐、鱒の薫製　いずれも大変美味しかったです。ほうとうは味噌が優しい味、上に乗っている辛い牛蒡が良いアクセント。お子さん向けには牛蒡は別皿で提供していました。大きな鍋で出されますが、量は女性が食べきれるくらいです。男性はご飯も頼んだほうが良いかな。豆腐は大豆の味がしっかり味わえ、薬味なしで味わうのがオススメです。 138号線沿いで山中湖方面からだと左折、河口湖方面からだと右折ですが右折しにくい場所なので、手前にある紅富士の湯の案内看板の所で右折すると良いです。
