If you visit Hsinchu City God Temple, you must try the steamed cakes around the temple. The bakery offered three flavor of steamed cakes. l recommend taro flavor which is the one of most delicious desserts in Hsinchu.
The old backery where still selling their cakes by weight. Cake is made by steam, not baker ovan. Quiet traditional!
Healthy steamed cake. But the staff could be more friendly.
