Good for a banquet meal. I've spotted a group of foreigners, and I have no idea how they found this place. I'd say it's pretty local although I'm not a big fan. The waiters usually have no patience if you don't know what to order. Don't expect them to kindly suggest dishes.

Family gathering restaurant. They have been around so long it honestly feels like they have let things go a bit. But some people love them unconditionally so they stay in business. My opinion is that the food is good, but it could be a bit cleaner. Since my in laws are connected with the owner we always get superior service, once this is established. One has to try their deep fried shrimp-balls and Kung Pao chicken though. Skip the red wine if you can because it is a watered down sweetened convenience store brand. I would rate it 3.2 if I could. Better than just okay. But I wouldn't go on my own volition.
It's a pretty decent restaurant, but if you came to Taiwan to eat some real Taiwanese food. I suggest you to go hit the street food (pretty much everything we ordered here I had it in the us).
Food is not bad but not great either. Cleaness needs to improve big time. I saw at least 3 cockroaches.

The food is not bad, local flavor, salty, spicy and greasy Not really healthy, but tasty for most of the Tainanese.
