tl;dr: So good we came here three times in five days Seven years after we were in Yangoon, I still remember the noodles that we had here. I'm not sure what the prices or the quality of the food are now compared to the time when we were there, but we loved it so much we repeatedly went there to try the different things on the menu. They speak decent English as well. From the picture it looks like they're doing very well for themselves, and the shop has been renovated to boot! I'm hopeful that one day we'll be able to return, but not while the junta is in power. Stay strong, and safe.

A classic since 1978. The food is quality and a good representation of Shan cuisine. The owner is kind, and cheeky. Most dishes can be made vegetarian. If you leave Yangon without going here, you made a mistake. Hype it up!
One of the most famous noodle shops in Rangoun and definitely in my top 3 list! Try the dry version!
This could be one of the most delicious food I have experienced in Yangon. The food shop is right in the central of city with varied choice for food not only noodle as the name. Very nice decoration in each dish they delivered and taste are very featuring from the local. Moreover, the cost is very reasonable for the load of food we took. The staff is also attentive. It is good to come back and try another different dishes.
A good spot overflowing with tourists as they are tourist friendly and whilst the food is local it’s not so exotic the foreigners struggle with it. We enjoyed our hot veggie Shan noodle salad - which was recommended by the chef. And in particular we enjoyed the humorous floor manager on the first floor who is both funny and super efficient. He made the whole experience a delight. The complimentary tea served in a flask to the table was a nice touch.
Great local food. Super fast service. The servers are fun and kinda know English which makes ordering even easier. The servers even help out with the proper way to season and eat the meals. The Shan noodle dish is very good, I highly recommend it.
It was a pleasant experience there!! The food were relatively cheap for the quality of food and service you get in return. Despite not being the chef’s recommendation, #14. Wheat noodle (dry) is to die for. The tea is savory but a request for less sugar is best preferred.
I saw this place on the map and the reviews lead me to there. Most of the customers are tourists. There are a lot of people during lunch time. Hygiene and clean. The food tastes good. The price is normal.
