Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Ridiculously boring and uninspiring library. It resembles a data center. Unlike most libraries in Scandinavia or Northern Europe, where they have evolved into places of social interaction and collaboration, this one is nothing but a functional placeholder for books. Why would one go there instead of just downloading a book from the internet while sitting in a cozy cafe near a lake?

Inside the historic building there is the beautiful law library by calatrava.
Beautiful designed library by Santiago Calatrava. The contemporary designed atrium is floating inside the old and has an amazing lookup! A must visit for architecture lovers! People are studying here, so be quiet and respect their privacy!
Beautiful design and architecture in old university
never seen such a beautiful design anywhere in my life, and I'd like to be as lucky as the students that have the possibility to study inside of it, unfortunately it's not possible to make photos in order not to disturb the students
Stunning library, just be careful with wet shoes as their sqeaks echoes quite a bit.

Must visit from an architectural point of view. Entrance to the library is on the backside( not road facing side) of the building. Bagage deposit boxes are available free of charge for store any bags/backpacks before heading in. Allocate 15-20 minutes should be ok for a casual look around and more if you want to spend time reading in this well stocked library. Photos are permitted. The library staff at the entrance is very helpful with any information or doubts one may have. A huge plus is the late opening hours till 21:00 Hrs CET. Cheers, Ank
