I wrote to them in the morning to ask about the sharpening of ice skates and they said that it costs 10CHF and it takes 10-15min depending on the availability of the personnel. I took my ice skates on the same day and wanted to check if they needed sharpening as they were brand new and I hadn't used them before at all. The guy just took them and told me to wait there for about 10min and that the price would be 10CHF. After he was finished he have them to me and told me that I had to pay 15CHF and I said that we had agreed on 10CHF. According to him he said 15CHF when I arrived, which I told him was not true. I also told him that I had written on that same day to ask about the price and duration of the service and his excuse was that they \increased the price because otherwise it was too cheap\. That for 10CHF I should that left them for the next day, which would have been fine by me as I didn't need them right away, he just never gave me that option until he was finished. In the end I left disappointed and with a pair of skates that look exactly the same as when I brought them. He did sharpen them, because I heard it and saw it, but maybe they didn't need sharpening which was my first question when I arrived. Long story short, I'm not coming back and do not recommend that place for servicing ice skates.

Good selection of equipment but I wouldn't try to get your skates sharpened anytime quick since it's location puts it right beside a hockey arena. Prices are reasonable and I was pointed in the right direction for what I needed.

I went to Ochsner Hockey Pro Shop Zürich today around 13:00, there was one man working in there with about 5 customers. I waited 70 minuites just to be told that the only man working there needs to sharpen 10 pairs of skates before he can come to me. At that point i asked him to write me the address of the next closest place. After leaving we reolized that he had giving us the wrong address and just wanted us out of the shop. So i am never returning to this place ever again. The Shop in Zug is much better, much nicer and just works. Dont bother with Siewerdtstrasse unless you are part of the Zuri hockey team. Worst Hockey Shop Ever.
