The best middle eastern I’ve found in Manhattan — no I don’t think highly of the food in New York. Mama ghanoush (cauliflower) is interesting and creative. The juices are very reasonably priced and fresh. Everything is very proper. I will come back.

PLEASE PLEASE!!! dont rely on negative comments from people who dont appreciate the REAL food and never traveled ( you can go back to your pizza 99cent)!!! its very hard and almost impossible to find delicious food in new york.. mostly very low quality, grim and out of order ( also super overpriced for nothing) ... today ive decided to try this place Zayara for my quick lunch and i was shoked, food was INCREDIBLY delicious, bravo to the Chef! it reminds me my wonderful time in middle east, portions was very generous in a beautiful plate for such a lot prices!! nothing is overpriced.. everyone was SMILING to me, i felt very welcomed and most important extremly satisfied. one of the best middle eastern place in new york! i wish them to expand all over new york. will come back again and again
I was thinking about which places I would miss if they shutdown due to Covid and Zyara was at the top of my list. We have a lot of Middle Eastern food options in the city but none of them compare to Zyara. The owner is also really nice and sometimes give you free tea. Looking forward to being able to come back once things are normal.
Guy who took the order was really welcoming and nice. He also gave us Arabic qahwa on house to all 8 of us. We liked the taste of the food but we all thought the portion was little smaller for the price we paid. But the food taste was good.
I went there for a coffee first , while i was drinking coffee i checked the menu and there was a lot of nice looking food . Came back after on hour in a lunch time to try , it was one the best halal kind of food i have ever tried . Will definitely come back again. If you are traveling to new york , you should definitely try. :)
