It is in the end the images that remind us of special moments and the associated emotions in our lives. How good are our memories of that beautiful autumn afternoon 2.5 years ago. It is the pictures you took that enable us to completely revive that day. We loved the time we spend together before and during the wedding. That the photo’s turned out amazing was an unmistakable result of your wonderful qualities both as person and as artist. We highly recommend Martijn to all people that want pictures that are more than just a colourful representation of reality; it’s for the people that emotionally want to remember their day forever.

We chose Martijn after a lovely Skype meeting and viewing his breath taking pictures online, but it is impossible to write how touching and beautiful our wedding photos came out. He has a true gift to see beauty in shadows and light and how he is able to capture love between lovers and families. He is easy going and personable, which makes taking intimate photos non intimidating. Our photos our filled with moments of surprises, hugs, stolen glances and dancing the night away. They are not posed or fake, but capture the true essence of the night. If you are considering hiring Martijn for your wedding or any photoshoot, do it. How can we give Martijn enough credit for what he has done for us? Apart from being an interesting and likeable person, he is such a pleasure to work with. He is collaborate, attentive, kind, has great suggestions, and is very open to your ideas. Most importantly, he has such a passion for what he does. We’re not very confident in front of a camera but on the day Martijn really put us as ease. When we received our photos, it was like we were there with our guests, our family and each other all over again. He captured all the moments we were unable to be part of so beautifully. He went above and beyond anything we could have dreamed from our photographer. We were lucky enough to work with him.
