Had a great stop at Rustpunt de Kieviet for lunch and some Zundert Trappist beer. The food was excellent, Trappist beer selection exquisite, and my dog had a fantastic time. We typically don’t take her many places but once we pulled up to Kieviet she immediately felt at home!

The stuff is friendly, but instead of the ordered Zundert 10 I have got the 8, the bottle was already opened. Not a big deal, but still - 1 star less.
My wife and I stopped by while looking to try the local beer brewed at the monastery across the street, but ending up spending a very enjoyable rainy afternoon chatting with the lovely and hospitable owner/bartender of this quiet restaurant. One of those places you're disappointed that you only have 5 stars to select :D 8 stars!
Despite having two dogs with us we were made extremely welcome. The service was good, the waffles we had were delicious. On top of that the prices were very reasonable. what more can one expect!
They don’t accept normal credit cards (Visa or Master), so be prepared to pay with cash or to walk to neighbor village
