By doing so Flexy offers the unique opportunity to businesses to directly search, contact, and contract flex workers, without having to contact a third party. Moreover, instead of the temporary employment agency putting vacancies on its website, businesses are able to do this directly themselves. This user-driven platform thus fully automates the matching process between businesses and flex workers and enhances the user experience of both parties. Aside from the matching process, Flexy also fully automates the planning, the remuneration of flex workers, and the billing of businesses. Flexy automates the planning by incorporating software in its website that equally divides the requested hours of businesses, amongst the individual availabilities of flex workers. Furthermore, by directly putting the responsibility of correct remuneration and billing in the hands of the flex workers and businesses, these tasks are also automated. Moreover, in order to reduce the amount of time spent on answering questions from businesses and flex workers, Flexy aims to be as transparent as possible. By being an automated, transparent and user-driven temporary employment agency, Flexy is able to substantially reduce personnel costs. Since this is the largest operating cost, it enables Flexy to offer flex workers at a much cheaper rate and disrupt the Dutch temporary employment market.
