Booked a table for 6 people, tried to get it for 6pm because we had an 8 year old with us, but was told we could only have it at 5 pm, arrived at the restaurant only to be told they can’t find a booking in my name ( alarm bells ringing!), the waiter came back later and said he could find it and blamed poor eyesight! sat down at the table , ordered drinks, then a while later they took the order for food, hour and quarter later I asked the waitress to chase up our order, all the serving staff went into a huddle to find out who hadn’t placed the order, the food then came out one plate at a time and to be honest was very good, it just seems no one was taking charge, how could you miss a table for 6, in the middle of the room that hadn’t got their food? No one offered an apology for the bad service or a reduction of the bill, I’ve had bad service in restaurants before and a simple sorry is enough to keep my custom, but not in this case.

The food and service at Zitto today were peerless - perfect bruschetta, and they accommodated my request for spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino with seafood which was not on the menu and tasted exquisite. My wife's smoked salmon with fresh pasta was jumping off the plate with flavour. All served up with politeness, efficiency and good humour. The only petalo di rosa sgualcito was pepper served in tiny sachets like in a works canteen. Come on guys, expecting our pepper from a three-foot tall wooden grinder on our next visit!
First time eating out since restaurants re-opened, food was lovely, waitresses were excellent and most of all felt very safe with all the right precautions taken
Great value, nice surroundings and do friendly staff. Food was delicious.
