Today is my birthday and I decided to dine in at Zebbs deluxe bar and grill. For starters the portion of the tablecloth hanging off the table was disgusting. It had food and drink stains all over. When placing our order we asked for lemon in our water which we never received. Then we proceeded to order the house margaritas the first drinks had massive salt and small black particles floating in it. They replaced the margarita, we ordered our food at about 1:40pm and didn't receive our meal of nachos, chicken wings, tuna melt, black and blu burger and a quesadilla until about 2:15 Because the order took so long we has to request it be changed to a to go order. After arriving at Continental school across the parking lot we examined our food; the nachos were soggy and the lettuce was wilted, the chicken was bland and dry, the burger didn't have pickles, the lettuce was brown on the inside. The tuna melt didn't even have melted cheese. When calling to express our concerns the manager stated he didn't care about our complaints we were just mad they refused to accept a paper license issued by NYS DMV along with a photo of her out of state license which was taken by DMV when she applied for her NYS license. I tried to explain it wasn't about a license it was about the quality of food and lack of customer service. I took pictures of the food to backup my claim I refuse to eat food prepared without and courtesy out ticket came to 96.00 the manager Jakob didn't even offer to remake the food or comp us he dismissed our claim as if we didn't matter.
I love Zebb's. They have the best chicken wings in town. The fajitas are a favorite too. I always feel welcomed by the friendly staff. Glad there is still a great hometown restaurant nearby.
The food was very good. I enjoyed myself a lot. Service was excellent. Cookies are so good.
Since we are always so quick to share negative feedback, I thought I'd go against the grain..like normal! Both times we've been to Zebbs recently, the service exceeded expectations. Drinks were refilled without prompting, frequent but not intrusive check ins and very personable! Solid
