Not as big as the other ones but decent airport. Due to covid airport is less busy and lot less eating options. Great assortment of chocolates in duty free. Lot of coffee joints. Toilets are well maintained. Lot if international connections as Brussels is the business capital of Europe. Sad part is that there are no more direct flights to India after the jet airways fiasco. Lot of tightened security after the attacks .

Because of covid there are not many eating options. If you're a smoker this is a great airport, because they have a smoking room in the airport that is open despite covid. The duty free store is still open so that was great.

It was a clean and beautiful airport. There is a wide variety of chocolates at duty free shops and I bought chocolate and cherry beer. There was a Japanese yen exchange within the restricted area of departure, but it was not accepted for around 1000 yen. There was a convenience store near the arrival exit.

I was looking for car renting office but everything was closed due to covid at the arrival. As from there it was a nightmare to find it. No clear indications, wrong location information (not at level 0 but -1 with the lift), wrong indication regarding open opening hours 4pm instead of 6pm as indicated, impossible to find an airport employee able to help me finding thoses offices etc.. 30 min turning around into that airport - a mess....

The Brussels Zaventem Airport from where you connect to the world. Superb facilities and hardworking staff. It is also generously serviced by most international airlines including big names from Africa. We love the Brussels Airport.

Less confusing than other airports. Also less shops are open because of the current situation. I like it though, plenty reclininf seats good coffee shops for a quick bite.

Newly renovated airport quite big and you must be prepared to walk a bit so bring a wheeled bag . Shopping ok. Extra plus for the smooth connection with the train station. On general long walks and a number of floor changes needed. An advise is to use the elevators instead of escalators it will give you extra time. Also if changing to train buy your ticket early in a machine (blue machines in the baggage claim area to avoid potential queues at the train station.
