I’m a American. The door is sliding and there isn’t a sign telling foreigners this. Felt like a idiot trying to figure out how to get inside. Normally in the United States the doors open and close on a door. Not a sliding door. If it’s sliding it’s on a automatic door slide that opens up for customers. The food was very reasonably priced. The first time I’ve ever tried tea in my life. That’s the last time I ever try tea ever again. It tasted like warm fish and didn’t taste good. I choked down the tea to be polite. The beef, with egg and rice was awesome. Some of the best food I’ve had. Whatever was in the black bowl smelt awful. It was swimming in water or something and it smelt bad! The beef bowl / rice and egg was delicious. Why I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 1. The service could be more user friendly towards foreigners. The machine has a English selection but it took me 3 minutes to figure out how to pay for my meal at the machine, it was frustrating. People near me giggled at me because I was trying to figure it out. Yeah, that’s exactly what you want to do when asking for a good review laugh at me because I don’t know how to use your machine. I’m used to returning my dishes to a waitress or putting my stuff away before I walk out of a restaurant. It made me feel bad just leaving my dirty dishes on the table and walking out. In the USA a waiter or waitress takes your dishes and gives you the bill. Here in Japan you pay first and leave your dishes. It made me feel uncomfortable doing that. Anyway it was a unique experience. I probably won’t order the same thing again, but I’ll most definitely try the place again.
