BIM technology is a novelty in the world of design that is constantly changing and evolving, and today's engineers must be extremely flexible and computer-skilled to compete in the labor market. The most important feature of the BIM design is (as the name itself says) creating a 3D model of the building (assignment of all elemental features) instead of drawing or showing the 1D and 2D elements of the building. The advantage is in much faster and more advanced design mode because BIM technology allows the assignment of elements that contain much more data and feature than ordinary drawing that contains 1D and 2D elements. The result of this is a unique model that is used later for an unlimited number of drawings available by clicking on the mouse. BIM design requires much less time and alignment in later design phases and includes all fields involved in the design process.
