Room abit dated and required refurbishment. Nevertheless it is spacious. The used if Hoteks apps to open the door could be a nuisance for 1st time user. We need the apps to open both the hotel door and room door especially after 8pm. Nevertheless the view behind the hotel/restaurant really superb.

We booked the room with balcony, that was the best room in this hotel. The room was included the free breakfast. It wasn't various foods,but there were breads, cheese, ham, and some drink. By the way, the restaurant's view was very wonderful, and there could see the windmills, bridge, and river with cute duck. The hotel's employee was very nice. They were wait for customer to check in and tell us where was the free parking space. It was very convenience to go to Zaandam windmills. Only walk across the bridge, and we could arrival the Zaandam windmills. There was a wonderful trip.

For a basic hotel this place was brilliant. Clean, nice continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location, set right in the middle of the tourist area for the windmills yet by 7pm all is quiet and peaceful leaving a tranquil village with friendly locals. Will be staying here again when we return to Amsterdam
Good location, clean hotel, comfy bed. Our room had nice lake view. Washroom floor has no drain which is very weird so BE CAUTIOUS when taking shower- could easily flood the room. Not too flexible on early checkin tho, also hotel entrance was not easy to find- it’s inside the restaurant and there was no front desk.
Friendly staff, good room. Really close to typical dutch scenery and culture to visit. Great lunch and dinner. Was there at summer 2018 hot weather wave, and they even went to buy a new big fan so we didn't feel so warm at night. I really recommend this place.
Keyless room entry system as not as advanced and convenient as it should be. On the check out date it stopped working right after midnight, although the check out time was 11am. To make things worse there is no customer service desk. Rooms are very small and look dated. Breakfast was really good.
Very clean and chill place to stay. Close proximity to station and windmills is a plus. And the breakfast is super!! Lovely staff, very kind and helpful. They also have an Italian restaurant.
